We’re growing, and we want you to be a part of it. We are looking for an experienced Insurance Filing Clerk to join our team.

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Business Operations Controller, the Insurance Filing Clerk is responsible for completing filings, reports, documentation, reconciliations, and communications related to surplus lines and RPG in all states. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely and accurate completion of surplus lines submissions into the InsCipher system
  • Reconcile surplus filing data batches and invoices.
  • Ensure proper documents are prepared, received, and reviewed for submission.
  • Assist with any internal or external surplus lines audits verifying transactions, documents, and filings.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume position, deliver timely and accurate work, and respond with a sense of urgency as required.
  • Independently investigate, research, and resolve issues that may arise during the filing, reconciliation, or payment processes.
  • Self-directed with strong organizational, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Effectively works independently within a team construct, while supporting teamwork and achievement of team goals.
  • Be flexible with internal workflow and process changes and provide feedback.
  • Coachable, willingness to learn new skills and apply constructive feedback
  • Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required.
  • 6+ months experience filing surplus lines transactions to state authorities required.
    • OR a valid P&C insurance license plus 8+ months of CSR experience with the Veracity Online Programs department required.
  • 6+ months computerized data entry experience required.
  • Highly organized and personally accountable.
  • Focused on accuracy, attention to detail, and communication.
  • Work experience in administration or accounting preferred.
  • Experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Salary Range: 23.00-25.00/hr
