We’re seeking a talented, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in a remote work environment. Reporting to the Sr. Financial Analyst, this role is responsible for delivering high-impact financial insights through ad hoc analysis and the development of robust forecasting models. They will play a key role in supporting executive decision-making by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize profitability, and drive strategic growth across the organization.

We’re seeking a talented, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in a remote work environment. Reporting to the Sr. Financial Analyst, this role is responsible for delivering high-impact financial insights through ad hoc analysis and the development of robust forecasting models. They will play a key role in supporting executive decision-making by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize profitability, and drive strategic growth across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze financial data from internal reports and systems to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making initiatives
- Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to project future performance under various scenarios, supporting the creation of accurate forecasts and strategic planning initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, analysis, and recommendations for executive management to guide and influence long-term strategic decision making
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
- Conduct in-depth business analyses of historical, projected, and comparative performance, and develop forecasting models based on key insights to inform strategic decision-making
- Identify financial and operational trends through data analysis and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership to support informed decision-making and business growth
- Provide expertise, strategic guidance, and hands-on support for planning and executing a variety of accounting projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards
- Monitor and assess financial performance by analyzing actual results against forecasts, identifying variances, and providing insights to support financial planning and decision-making
- Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience as a Financial Analyst, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and supporting strategic financial decisions
- 2+ years’ experience with SQL and Snowflake, including data modeling, query optimization, and working with large datasets in a cloud environment
- Basic experience utilizing AI tools and prompting (e.g., ChatGPT, Excel Copilot) to enhance financial analysis and reporting efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into meaningful recommendations
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel; experience with additional financial planning software is a plus
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred) and advanced financial analysis methodologies
- Familiarity with economic indicators, industry benchmarks, and market trends that influence business performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
