We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Project Accountant who combines precision with a proactive mindset to join our team remotely. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including processing transactions, reconciling accounts, recording entries, and preparing both internal and external financial reports. Beyond core accounting responsibilities, you will drive problem-solving initiatives, lead special projects, and play a key role in modernizing financial operations using innovative digital tools and intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting automation, workflow tools, and ERP systems
  • Conduct monthly bank, account, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Provide timely, accurate, and actionable information to management for decision-making
  • Analyze, interpret, and resolve accounting discrepancies and process issues
  • Develop, implement, and enforce budgets, policies, and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for operational and cost efficiencies
  • Compile, analyze, and present financial information to management
  • Leverage AI-powered predictive analytics to support accurate budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with clients and colleagues
  • Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on accounting experience
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) with the ability to apply them confidently and accurately
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros) required; experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
  • Experience using generative AI in accounting or finance to optimize workflows, boost efficiency, and support smarter decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective time management in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

Compensation Range: $75k/yr - $85k/yr
