We’re seeking a skilled and driven Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, this remote role serves as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring a seamless experience from onboarding through policy renewal. The Account Manager builds and maintains long-term client relationships by proactively addressing needs, managing renewals, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver timely, effective solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales through onboarding and continued support throughout the policy term and renewal cycle 

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts by responding to inquiries, processing policy changes, and resolving issues efficiently and professionally 

  • Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate account activity and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience 

  • Conduct proactive outreach ahead of renewals to review coverage, assess business changes, and recommend appropriate adjustments to maintain retention and satisfaction 

  • Identify cross-selling and referral opportunities by understanding clients’ business goals, risk profiles, and evolving coverage needs 

  • Maintain accurate client data and documentation in HubSpot, AMS, and related systems to ensure data integrity and visibility into the book of business 

  • Partner with sales, service, and carrier teams to streamline processes, enhance communication, and drive operational efficiency 

  • Stay informed on Veracity Insurance product offerings, carrier underwriting guidelines, and industry best practices to provide informed, consultative guidance 

  • Adhere to all licensing, regulatory, and company standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence 

  • Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned 

Requirements and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred 

  • 3–5 years of account management, client service, or insurance experience, ideally within a commercial or retail insurance environment 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness, follow-through, and clear communication 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates client needs and delivers effective, timely solutions 

  • Experienced with HubSpot, AMS, or similar CRM platforms; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools 

  • Knowledge of—or strong interest in developing expertise in—insurance products, underwriting processes, consultative selling, and industry regulations

Compensation Range: $70k/yr - $80k/yr + Bonuses
